Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. Majored in Physical Education with a focus on dance. Studied numerous dance styles including ballet, modern, ballroom, jazz, and Korean traditional dance. Coursework required learning choreography, stage design, and dance theory.

EMPLOYMENT

Ballroom Dance Instructor and Performer in the San Francisco Bay Area (2007 - Present)

Instruct individuals, couples, and group classes in a variety of ballroom dances. My students span a wide range of age, social-economic levels, and ethnic backgrounds. Choreograph and perform dance routines for special events.

Ballroom Dance Instructor at San Jose City College (2008 – Present)

Teach ballroom dance courses with a focus on American style dances. Choreograph student routines for annual Spring performance.

Ballroom Dance Instructor at Laney College (2009 – Present)

Teach ballroom dance courses with a focus on American style dances.

Co-director of the Midweeklies Youth Dance Program (2007 – Present)

Instruct middle-school students in ballroom dance at a program that has been operating for over 50 years in San Francisco.

Wrote monthly articles on dance and the health benefits.
